Heidi Cayn Friedman is a force to be reckoned with in the business of entertainment. Friedman’s company, HCF Strategies, was born in 2007 out of over 25 years of experience in the Television, Film, Digital, Branding and Social Media industries. Friedman specializes in the areas of Organization and Strategic Business Planning, Domestic and International Consulting, Business Affairs, Finance, Insurance, Product Integration and Budgeting and Scheduling.

As President and CEO of HCF Strategies, Friedman applies her vast knowledge on a daily basis and shares her extensive industry contacts with clients that span the globe, including Viacom, IAC/Electus, Notional, CBS Television, Time Warner Publishing, FOX, AT&T, NBC Digital Studios, All3 Media America, Universal Media Studios, NBC Productions, Big Table Media, Hoff Productions, GK Films and Television, Axelrod/Ett Creative Group, Jane Street Entertainment, Wall To Wall and more.

A seasoned speaker, Friedman enjoys sharing her experiences in the business of entertainment and mentoring future influencers.

Prior to forming HCF Strategies, Friedman was the Executive Vice President of Production at GRB Entertainment.

Spearheading the company’s entire production slate from development through completion, including the breakout hit INTERVENTION and cable series such as DIAGNOSIS X and THE BONE DETECTIVE; Friedman was tasked with growing GRB Entertainment’s ever-expanding Television Division, relying on her wide-ranging expertise in production, financial controls, business affairs, and administration.

In addition to her day-to-day production oversight, Friedman worked as an integral part of the GRB core management team, creating and implementing strategies for continued corporate growth.

Prior to joining GRB Entertainment, Friedman was the Executive Vice President of Production for Scout Productions, managing all production generated in Scout’s Los Angeles, Boston, and New York locations including the Emmy® Award winning series QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY.

Before her years at Scout, Friedman spent 13 years as the Executive Vice President of Production and Finance and Executive in Charge of Production at Stone Stanley Entertainment, where she supervised the production of over 30 Network and Cable television series and led the exponential growth of the company from a small alternative television contributor to a major entertainment industry competitor.

Friedman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television and Film Production from California State University, Northridge. She is a benefactor of City Of Hope and a variety of Autism Research charities.

In her free time, Friedman enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, writing poetry and journaling, attending music concerts and festivals and walking on the beach.
